Blazing sun and real humid today. Luckily I have no headache, which is a novel experience considering the events of yesterday.
Work was a non-event, but thankfully a short one. David called and suggested a few drinks as we were both off and as the only thing I had planned was an afternoon of flat cleaning, I readily agreed.
We ended up with a 12 pack of Corona, some cider and a bottle of rum. David needed cheering up as he quit his job. He felt he should be higher up and he wasn't getting the respect he deserved as a motorcycle shop floor worker. "I'll just get another job.Easy."
It should be easy as jobs are so easily available these days.
Craig, Dee and Rab turned up soon after. Although Rab left very quickly as his new girlfriend called. The poor man has changed so much. That thumb print on his forehead is really unpleasant.
We had plans for a BBQ, but with the heat, comfort and steady supply of booze, nobody bothered getting up. So I had 12 beers, half a bottle of rum with cider on the side on an empty stomach. I was actually coherant as long as I stayed mobile. My mistake was sitting down "Just for a sec." around half 8. Then it was 12 hours later and my alarm was blaring. However, that much sleep and I was feeling good.
It has been quite a while since I imbibed that much alcohol, and I probably won't be doing it again anytime soon. I just need a little buzz to keep my creative juices flowing and my insane gibberish on the page. Getting raging drunk and blacking out is a bit pointless. I'm sure I will again though...

Well back to it. It's been over a year since I updated. My usual glacial pace really.
Well, what's been happening? I am no longer waking up incredibly hungover every morning, which is definitely a good thing.
I am now a freelance journalist, a hack really but it's fun. A press pass comes in handy at times.
There really is much to tell, and I shall update regularly but for now it's thank you and goodnight...
